My Journey with Frontend

Web & Mobile Foundations: Emi Shop Android

Timeline: January 2023 – September 2024

My development journey began in January 2023 when I started learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. That summer, I took on a major application build called Emi Shop. To establish a robust architecture, I built the initial native iteration using Java and the Android SDK, maintaining the project through constant feature pushes on GitHub up to late 2024.

Mobile & Desktop Client-Side

Timeline: Throughout 2024

Working independently and alongside my partner at Eureka, I accelerated my client-side product output. I engineered a massive suite of utility tools, custom educational apps under the Natville brand, and desktop software.

Tech Stack: Java, Android SDK, Java Swing, XML

Mobile & Desktop Repositories:

MERN Stack & Early Vue.js Integration

Timeline: September 2024 – October 2024

To expand my web development skills, I built the first web-based interface for Emi Shop using Vue.js, connecting it directly to my existing Django backend. Shortly after, in preparation for joining Gensols, I was tasked with learning the MERN stack and built out two projects.

Tech Stack: Vue.js, React.js, Node.js, Express, JavaScript, TailwindCSS

MERN & Vue Repositories:

Gensols: Hybrid Desktop, Browser Gaming & Android Debugging

Timeline: October 2024 – February 2025

During my tenure at Gensols, my frontend range expanded dramatically. I built cross-platform desktop applications using Electron, debugged complex bugs in Java Android apps, and dove into web game loops by building a 2D browser game using Phaser.js. Concurrently, I completely rewrote the original Emi Shop client from the ground up, utilizing modern Vue.js reactive structures to drastically lower load speeds.

Tech Stack: Electron, Phaser.js, Vue.js, Java

Eureka: Yeshi Real Estate (Paletial)

Timeline: December 2024 – March 2025

Partnering with my friend Kaleab under Eureka, we took on a client project launching as Yeshi Real Estate (later rebranded to Paletial). I built the consumer facing frontend using Vue.js and the backend using Django.

Cricket Betting Platform: Live Odds

Timeline: December 2024 – April 2025

LinkedIn matched me with a client who needed a Cricket Betting Application. I built the entire frontend using Vue.js.

Eureka: Betegna Real Estate – A 3D Experience

Timeline: February 2025 – July 2025

At Eureka, my partner and I started an endeavor to fundamentally change how people browse properties online, leading to Betegna Real Estate. I engineered a highly interactive frontend experience designed to handle spatial coordinates served by our backend. The UI maps structured groups of either 360-degree panoramas or four directional photos, allowing users to smoothly click through rooms and visually navigate deep into a home with a genuine, immersive 3D environment feel.

Semantic Search Bot Platform & Multi-Tenant Management Dashboard

Timeline: July 2025

I designed and deployed an intelligent content ingestion pipeline for an automated Telegram shopping platform. Once the underlying vector pipeline was running smoothly, I built a multi-tenant management platform using Vue.js. I designed a clean SaaS interface that empowers individual users to spin up new bots, connect them securely to Telegram groups, and manage their ingested post feeds.

UI Theory Research

Timeline: August 2025

I wanted to push beyond practical code syntax and deeply understand the psychology behind high-converting digital products. I spent August conducting a focused study on advanced UI theories, compiling my detailed engineering notes into a public repo.

VentingApp: Launch & Public DevLog

Timeline: October 2025 – February 2026

I wanted to build a safe, scalable social platform where people could express themselves, so I took an idea from my friend Natnael Mulugeta and built Venting App. Utilizing Vue.js, I created a highly responsive, infinite-scrolling feed that handles real-time community engagement: likes, shares, comments, and donations. I recorded my entire screen throughout the journey, compiling every component implementation and UI challenge on YouTube before launching the live site.
