Context & Scope

Gensols was actively managing several high-priority, ongoing development projects. I joined the team as a Software Developer to help accelerate the development pipeline and efficiently bring these active initiatives across the finish line into fully realized MVPs within a matter of weeks.

Deliverables

I worked across a varied ecosystem of applications, adapting quickly to different project requirements. My core contributions spanned several key initiatives:

• 2D Multiplayer Game: I built a real-time multiplayer feature for a browser game using Phaser. I made sure the game’s canvas rendering played nice and synced up smoothly with the UI.
• 360° Interactive Learning System: Worked on a web-based training system that used 360-degree images to simulate real working environments for students.
• Synchronized Desktop & Mobile Apps: Contributed to a multi-platform system where an Electron desktop app acted as a central hub, communicating over the network with mobile apps to sync data and control visuals on multiple tablets.
• Custom n8n Automation: Cloned the core n8n repository to design and build a custom node, extending the platform’s native features to handle our specific data workflows.

Key Outcomes & Impact

• Accelerated MVP Delivery: Successfully completed development on multiple active projects, delivering fully operational MVPs within weeks of joining the initiatives.
• Cross-Domain Adaptability: Proven ability to rapidly context-switch between game development, UI/UX implementation, and backend workflow automation while maintaining a high standard of code quality.
